Casa
Ocotillo has been the #1 choice on Trip Advisor for a desert vacation getaway by
gay men, since January
2009.
Gay men
traveling to Palm Springs now have a superior choice above the
typical resort rooms abutting city streets. Casa
Ocotillo is a small historic luxury vacation home situated on two lots
steeped in history, offering old world luxuries and privacy that
once drew old Hollywood to Palm Springs. The Casa offers a
different Palm Springs vacation experience affording gay men
intimacy and privacy unlike any resort property. The Casa offers
five uniquely designed accommodations within two wings of the
old Hacienda on over a one-half acre of lushly landscaped
grounds. The rooms have been finished meticulously with details
and oversized furniture befitting an old Mexican estate home
with original artwork and fine fabrics. Both the Hacienda and
Carriage House offer private outside areas and share the salt
water pool and outside living room for socializing or just
taking in the magnificent mountain views with others. The full
property, including parking in the motor court, is gated and
walled off and provides the maximum privacy that was only found
in the old vacation estates of the Hollywood elite. The Hacienda
was reputedly once owned by Howard Hughes and included the three
abutting vacation homes. See

The Hacienda
is the original 1934 home, with two king suites and sleeps up to
four. Each suite has a private outside living room and
unsurpassed amenities. Coved plaster and wood planked beamed
ceilings, original hardwood and Mexican paver flooring and
custom high end furnishings provides unsurpassed old world
luxury.
The Carriage
House built in 2005 replicates the architecture and
charm of the 1930’s hacienda offering two bungalows and one
suite and sleeps up to six. Each of these rooms have walls of
wood casement windows and French doors, hand-troweled plaster
finishes as well as private patios. And if you are traveling
with a pet the Carriage House has a 56 ft. fully fenced dog run
with citrus trees for shade that is conveniently accessible by
both of the bungalow’s rear French doors. |
